What do you find most annoying about South Korean Japanese or Chinese people?
Answered Jan 12 2016
I'm writing this anonymously on purpose.
Korea: They think they're superior than other Asians. Their insane materialism and use of makeup and plastic surgery.
Japan: Well they still deny war crimes don't they?
China: South China Sea

The same as any culture: when they are insecure and cover it up with arrogance and disgust at others. When anyone one has to be right it will override compassion and humbleness.

Koreans: insular-mindset; hyper-nationalistic on the outside but deeply divided amongst themselves due to historical regional divisions (difficult to see this unless you’re a Korean yourself); debilitating emphasis on education looks prestige and status; truly a country of contradictions. There is no other country that is as united and as divided as Korea is at the same time. Outsiders might think they have a superiority complex but the truth of the matter is many Koreans do not like the fact that they are Korean.
Japanese: too strict with themselves can be too apologetic at times hard to read their true intentions some have a superiority complex towards other Asians and like to overtly associate themselves with the Western world politically they have issues with their neighboring countries not the best country for gender equality.
Chinese: imperialist mindset me-first attitude/me-only attitude not the most well-mannered people in the world have a weird approach towards morality and ethics (maybe a consequence of post-cultural revolution) probably some of the most materialistic and money-driven people in Asia.
To balance out the negatives here are the positives (all my impressions):
Koreans: incredibly hard-working people resilient do not like to lose out to their neighbors strong focus on family surprisingly quite generous and sympathetic once you get to know them (Korean Jeong) good at marketing and presentation a great eye for aesthetics and an ear for good music
Japanese: no other group is as meticulous and detail-oriented as the Japanese their products are often top-notch quality people are generally polite and well-cultured their language sounds melodious
Chinese: no denying their rich cultural heritage very smart and resilient people quite accepting of strangers and other cultures (despite being communist) probably the best country out of the three when it comes to gender equality has lots of potential for becoming one of the most dominant culture in the world if not already

Well those are three very different countries and cultures but if there is one common annoying trait that
all three seem to share it is an excessive love of photo-taking.
Seriously there is no need to memorialize every single moment of your holiday or birthday party!

South Koreans - I'm South Korean and I grew up most of my life in the States so I come in contact with other South Koreans often. A lot of South Koreans are super nationalistic. Patriotism is fine but there's definitely some heavy handed nationalism. Everything from xenophobia to sometimes blatant racism. Hopefully as Korean culture becomes more diverse this xenophobia and racism will disappear.
Japanese - Unfortunately I haven't met that many Japanese people anywhere really. But of the few I've met in person they're pretty cool but I know not all Japanese are like the ones I call my friends. But definitely the lack of education on war crimes definitely pisses me off a lot.
Chinese - I've met lots of Chinese people especially in the US and South Korea. The ones I met in America are a bit of a mixed bag. The high school students don't really do anything bad so much that they stick in large groups of exchange students and keep to themselves. Generally they're nice but sometimes the richer ones come off as really arrogant.
Note: I try not to form opinions on an entire people because of a few good or bad examples. These are just based on the people I've met so far.

Chinese (mainland): If you met the wrong people you will think they are the most annoying people in the world. However I have some very good friends from China. They are annoying when they start talking in mandarin and think you are invisible. I usually shout to my friends: stop. speaking. chinese. language. (heeey I am here!).
Japanese: Most of them don't know about the atrocity of imperial japan. Blame the japanese government though I don't really hate the japanese for historical amnesia. Their general disrespect to women in society is also astounding how come it still happens in 21st century?
South Koreans: so far I only met three south koreans. They are nice people so far but I read that they think their ethnic group is superior from the rest of the world but I haven't encountered any case of racism with them. But from what I heard you can be discriminated if you are 'ugly' and 'brown'.

I have tons of Korean friends and i have lived there quite a while from my experience they tend to prefer to date only inside their racial boundaries. Even the younger generations think that the only proper way is to marry a korean as well. I've ask them about this about possibilities to date other race perhaps someone from China or Japan with similar undistinguished look and atleast similar East asian culture with Korean but they keep saying that they won't be able to understand the culture saying that if a Korean date someone outside the Korean race it's basically just a summer fling either that or they think that the Korean guy/girl can't find any decent korean to date because of his/her incapabilities they refer to blue collar workers who have arranged marriage with girls from other countries.
an interesting phenomenon for me because i noticed that Korean that lived outside the country (in my case in Indonesia) have a totally different approach with their mainlands.

Actually I do believe that as human being we are all alike .However the culture impacts us and divide us into a different nations.
Asia has a very unique culture which makes Asian people looks awkward to the other nations .
I had the chance to work with Chinese and Korean I can really set out the differences between them although many people still think they are the same in terms of appearance and why of thinking .
1-Chinese people :
It is really hard to deal with them due to their attitude and their language .They are introvert and refuse to make connection with others .as well as they are not faithful and corruptive .
Many people think that Koreans are the same as those in the k drama. However they are totally different .They are so arrogant and they feel so superior to others.
I have never met Japanese.
Finally I think Asian people especially Korean Chinese and Japanese are very polite and they know their limit with others.

This is a problem I've mostly observed within Chinese and Japanese although given the shared history I wouldn't be surprised if it applied to Koreans as well.
There is an annoying (and sometimes completely asinine) way of thinking that people (mostly of other countries/races) must cater to your interests at the expense of their self-interest and the closely related but not exactly equal expectation that the situation most advantageous to them is also the situation that should happen (because apparently the universe should also cater to your interests as well).
I theorize this may also be the reason for the compulsive gambling habits of East Asia as well.

Due to the popularity of Korean dramas and music Korean guys and girls feel and act like they are better than any other form of asian (Some not all they just appear less humble then Chinese and Japanese). This is rather annoying.

Chinese - Lack of unity. Backstabbing is common. Chinese share similar values as Jews but without the unity.
Japanese - For denying their Chinese ancestry. Historical records show that a flotilla of 500 boys and girls were sent on a mission into the East China Sea in search of everlasting life for Qin Shi Huang. They never returned. Furthermore no evidence of Japanese indigenous people existed before that period. The first Japanese Emperor appeared out of no where according to the legends. Hmmm...
Korean - For claiming everything good about Chinese being originated from Korea. Talk about a circular reference.

I gotta say this is a pretty racist question but I will answer it.
I am Japanese by ethnicity but culturally I am not pure Japanese. For Japanese I would say their smoking habits (for Japanese guys). It is pretty disgusting to smell my hair after going to sushi restaurant that allowed smoking. When I get into an elevator I can smell cigarets like they smoked there but it is actually that there are so many guys in Japan who smoke so their breath smells. The fact that girls speak in high pitch voice (I am a girl though but I found it completely annoying) like they are from anime or something...it gets old pretty quick (come on don't be so fake!).
For Korean their use of too much garlic. Their breath wreaks of garlic to unimaginable extent at times. Don't get me wrong I love Korean food at times and they can be very tasty but too much garlic in general. I went to high school where there was a girl from South Korea (immigrant fresh off the boat) in a class she wreaked of raw garlic miles away. She probably eats Kimchi in the morning? Ah also the fact that they copy all J-pop and call it K-pop it is absolutely annoying make your own stuff Korean people (I love Korean drama though very romantic). Their music sucks in general. Oh and also K-pop movie and drama stars do not represent majority of guys and girls there but people seem to think Korean guys are good looking...well in reality no. Girls the same way they have extremely small eyes and they are not very beautiful in general but over-hyped.
For Chinese people I gotta say their extremely aggressive loud and self-centred nature who do not give sh*t to other people but their own. I was once in Hawaii for a vacation and there were a bunch of Chinese tourists. Man I could hear them miles away so loud. Do they know where they are? This same thing happened when I was in Japan. Their luck of manners and their entitled type of attitude (that I experienced when I was in Hong Kong) as well as their luck of public hygiene (their washroom is horrible). And #1 for Chinsese it has to be their government. They always accusing other countries for wrong doing that happened 7o years ago while they fail to see what they are actually doing right now to its neighbourhood Asian countries. From outbreak of diseases polluting environment to inability to control quality of merchandises are pretty annoying as well as destroying marine creatures to extinction.

my answer did not represent chinese people in general but in my first time visit to china long time ago. annoying things for me is when they’re eating something they put - for example is bones or shell or another things that they dont eat beside their food/plate.
